Child Sleep Support
From those first unsteady steps through to school age, your child’s sleep evolves through many stages. Bedtime resistance, frequent night-time wakings, early rising, the transition to a bigger bed, fear of the dark — each has its own timing and its own underlying cause. These are a natural part of growing up, but navigating them smoothly requires your guidance and support.
Working closely with your child’s age and individual needs, we’ll uncover together how sleep develops as they grow, how emotions and fears influence it, and how to establish calm, clear boundaries around bedtime. You’ll discover the approach that works specifically for your child and your family’s daily rhythm.
By the end of the programme, you’ll understand:
- what lies behind sleep difficulties as your child grows;
- how to create a calm and safe sleep environment;
- how to set boundaries with confidence and warmth in equal measure;
- how to reduce night-time wakings and early rising;
- how to ease the transition to a new bed, a separate room, independent sleep, or moments of fear and big emotions.
